2023 is still quite optimistic , we’re probably looking at a 10+ year worldwide depression. Even if the virus somehow isn’t around anymore , the economic after effects certainly will be.

My fantasy (given what an amazing plane the L-1011 was) is that the “on the brink” state of Airbus and Boeing gives an opening for Lockheed-Martin to get back into commercial aircraft with a stunning Middle Of Market plane that stomps the 321XLR and whatever Boeing’s been dreaming about for the last 15 years as they were asleep at their drafting table...
Or, Northrup gives us a blended body jetliner with spacious seating and amazing efficiency....
